Legislative approvals

Legislative approvals

The majority of construction projects must comply with government legislation in order for them to be deemed lawful. The two main aspects to consider are planning legislation and building control approval – failure to meet these two requirements can result in costly repercussions further down the line.

At this stage we prepare the necessary documentation required to support the plans produced for the works. We make the applications to local councils and liaise with the relevant bodies ensuring the process is as pain free as possible for our client.

We are also very experienced in working with historic and listed buildings, and is something we are passionate about. We have successfully carried out projects on many historic buildings across the UK and worked on behalf of our clients to ensure that legislative requirements are met and that any alterations are befitting to the character of these buildings.
